Town Hall Arts Center presents

Something’s Afoot

February 23 – March 25, 2018

The fourth main stage show of the 2017-2018 Town Hall Arts Center season is SOMETHING’S AFOOT playing now through March 25th. Book, Music and Lyrics by James McDonald, David Vos, and Robert Gerlach Additional Music by Ed Linderman. Something’s Afoot is a zany, entertaining musical that takes a satirical poke at the Agatha Christie mysteries and musical styles of the ‘30s English music hall. Ten people are stranded in an isolated country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one they’re picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. As bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit.

Bob Wells is back directing his second show of the 2017-2018 season. Bob recently directed Seussical, the Musical, this season and Once Upon a Mattress, Avenue Q and The Robber Bridegroom last season. Bob serves as a resident director at Town Hall Arts Center and is co-author (with John Ashton) of Murder Most Fowl¸ Denver’s long-running comedy-mystery.

Musical direction is by Donna Kolpan Debreceni; last seen directing music for Peter and the Starcatcher, Seussical, the Musical and In the Heights this season. Donna is a Henry Award Winner for THAC’s 2012 production of The Who’s Tommy.

Actors in this production are all returning to make up this wonderful ensemble cast! For a complete listing of cast and crew go to:
